How to make the most of your high energy and high focus?

There is usually a block of time each day when you are at your best - your energy and focus is high.

Let’s call this 'High Productive Time Block.'

This block's time and length may differ for each person.

For some, it might be in the early morning, while for others, it could be during the late afternoon or evening.

The question is - How do you spend your High Productive Time Block?

Here are 4 practical methods to make the most out of your High Productive Time Block:

Method:

1. Identify at what block of time your energy and focus is high.

Start by paying close attention to your energy levels and focus throughout the day. Notice when you feel most alert, motivated, and ready to tackle challenging tasks.

2. Use this time to tackle the most important and demanding tasks of the day.

These are the tasks that require your full attention and creativity. Whether it's a complex project, strategic planning, or creative work, use this time to make significant progress.

3. Minimize interruptions

By silencing notifications - Consider using apps or settings that allow you to schedule "Do Not Disturb" periods during your High Productive Time Block.

By closing unnecessary tabs - Limit your web browser tabs to only those related to your current task. Excessive open tabs can tempt you to wander into unproductive territory.

By setting your workspace for focused work - Ensure it's organized, comfortable, and free from clutter. A tidy workspace can have a significant impact on your concentration.

4. Define specific, achievable objectives for this period to ensure you stay on track.

Break down your tasks into smaller, manageable steps and set clear goals for what you want to accomplish during this time.

"The key is not to prioritize what's on your schedule but to schedule your priorities." -

Stephen Covey
